So Luke's dad doesn't seem to like Tali because she is Jewish and Luke is Christian. Someone should tell him if you took all the Jews out of the Christian Bible it would be literally empty.

I don't know why it's been made to be such a big deal. My parents were the same way, one's Jewish and the other is Catholic. It has never caused a problem. It actually is awesome. I always had Hanukkah, Christmas, and my birthday in a two week span. It was freaking awesome!
