Lyndsey Marshall as Lady Sarah

I'm just not really digging her as Lady Sarah and I'm not feeling any chemistry between her and Garrow. I loved Lyndsey Marshall as Cleopatra in Rome. But I'm finding her face is sort of expressionless all the time and I was actually surprised when she turned into a love interest for Garrow- not having been familiar with his personal history. Anyway, still really enjoying the series just can't help wondering if another actress would have been better for the role...

For me it's actually the other way around. I didn't like Lindsay Marshall's Cleopatra. She played her as a drugged-out lunatic (well, admittedly, the script told her so), but I found it completely unbelievable that this woman was supposed to have ruled an empire.

Though I agree somewhat about the chemistry between Lady Sarah and Garrow. She seems to be a bit cold.

I've only just started watching it but I think the attraction is more on her side than his. He likes her not sure he's that into her!

The way the series portrays it, Garrow's real passion is the law; Lady Sarah comes second.

That's reasonable. Having said that I've just watched the last ep and perhaps I might have been a little off in my reasonings :)).

Indeed! A nice kissy scene in the last episode.
