I am calling it my favorite Japanese movie now! They kept the sillyness down which is my usual problem with Japanese movies. I cared about the characters. Good story. I will have to get a blu ray if it ever comes out. I thought I was at least getting a dvd version but it was a crappy copy from ebay.

The HK R3 DVD release looks even better than I remember it from the movies-- I mean, it is a sort of a low/TV-budget movie so even the more obvious CGI "flaws" (Iskandar landing fight) are almost imperceptible on a TV screen.
Didn't bother with a blu-ray, cos I wasn't sure if a good blu-ray mastering would prevent the CGI "flaws" from showing up...
If you care enough to go around telling people you don't care... you obviously care.
