Enjoyed it as an old fan of the "Star Blazers" cartoon...lemmie tell ya one thing:

When the character Yuki Mori (spoilers ahead)

And the survivors reach Gamilas/Iskandar & she gets occupied by the Iskandar "consciousness" & her space suit bursts off in a flash of energy, the actress just looks "AWESOME"
