Ways to bring Jigsaw back?

Is there a plausible way to bring jigsaw back? I always pictured that 4-7 were all a dream he had while getting brain surgery (lame I know). But what other ways could he return if at all?

reply

Realistically speaking, there are none.

He could return in flashbacks and/or videotapes. I wouldn't mind videotapes, but it would be pushing it too far again, you know, the "how could he have predicted things that far up ahead" debate all over again.

Fine, fine, I'll leave! But first I'm going to bother these peanuts! Hmm? Yes? Hmm? HMM?

reply

Theyve kind of used up all the flashbacks of him IMO I mean unless there is another person out there who will have them remember him, that would be stretching it tho.

There's a lot of room for his character to return in flashbacks, to explain and elaborate on his connection with Gordon and the other apprentices. There's plenty of wiggle-room for him to keep coming back.

And FURTHERMORE, this is my signature! SERIOUSLY! Did you think I was still talking about my point?

reply

No he couldn't. I do think a plot twist is that Kramer was funded by some rich guy behind the scenes who would make an appearance in saw 8. These traps cost money and there's no way him nor hoffman could afford it all.

That would be a good twist. That Kramer was not the true mastermind but there was someone else behind the scene manipulating him.

actually in part six, when John is trying to get insurance coverage. He says something like don't worry about moneyour I have money. Implying he's well off.

Didn't the producers say something about Jigsaw originally standing in the crowd with Dr Gordon during the first trap of this movie?

Yes. Early on in the writing process (when this was set to be a two-part finale instead of a single movie), it was going to be shown that Jigsaw was watching the public trap, and that during the twist-montage at the very end, you would see he was watching it alongside Dr. Gordon, implying that the trap took place in the past, before he died.

Only issue is that since they really butchered the storyline by forcing the writers to combine the two scripts, this plot point was lost, making the opening trap kind of pointless.

They could probably come up with something like he was under the operation table so the doctor only cut a fake neck, etc... but i mean... cmon...

They could also come up with a twin brother...

Finally, a good way to bring him in flashback would be that Gordon find an audiotape in Jigsaw's desk and the tape is about John Kramer (like he must make traps for people etc.), meaning that everything we saw in the 7 movies were only John's test...

reply

Just pretend he didn't die. Killing him so early was a stupid, stupid mistake they should have just just owned up to and corrected a lot sooner already.

reply

yup, that's it.

reply

That's even more stupid.
