True Saw Fans and Saw Vets

Hello Saw fans,

For those of you that still happen to be around, give a shout out to let us know you're still a fan and excited for Saw to continue in the future. This was a list of all the major fans on the IMDB boards who were here from the very beginning even before Saw I was actually released. Others came on as the series grew.

This list hasn't been updated from the days of the Saw VI board. So I'm sure there are a lot of fans that aren't listed, but I'll have all of you on at some point. Great to see some of you still around.

Aww, looks like I never made among these ranks. I was a latecomer to the Saw VI board in '09, going under cabilan83 at the time! I really liked the regulars at that time; a fine bunch. If I can remember them all...

Oh, and to address the point of this thread! I was having Saw nostalgia lately, partly because of the fall weather, I think. I check every year to see if there's any Saw news, but it's looking like they meant it that the movies were done.

If I ever get the time or patience, I'd really like to write a Saw 8 script just for fun - not to pitch it or anything. I've had a cool sequel idea ever since before Saw IV and it still hasn't been made obsolete.

Great list. I remember you on the boards of course Cabilan. The Saw creators may have something planned for down the line. When there is money to be made they will always go back.

I used to lurk on the Saw boards, and I was heavy in speculation around Saw V/VI. Now that the IMDB boards are going down I wanted to come back and see all my old posts. You guys rocked!

Ah, Caliban, you remember me - I am indeed flattered!
I had nothing personally against Doc Novacaine, but his poetry made the script of Saw 3D look like Shakespeare's King Lear...

You're missing Bradley, who definitely was the most knowledgeable of us all (until he gave up on the series -he can't be blamed). Therefore, your list is inaccurate and meaningless.

P.S.: to answer your question, no, I'm not excited for anything related to Saw (unless DLB, Whannell and/or Wan are actively involved) even though I'd watch it anyway.

yeldarb68? He was a dedicated fan but in no way the most knowledgeable. Often missed obvious details of the series in his debates. But I will definitely add him to the list. I remember when you first came on the boards as well Litox. And you and FlamerSlayer going at it haha. Good times.
