You can't shoot me because...


I know the boards are ending soon, but whatever.

When Eurus instructed Sherlock to shoot either Mycroft or John, and the men were discussing his potential choice, why did none of them mention baby Rosie? If I remember right, no one said anything about not shooting John because it would turn Rosie into an orphan. I'm surprised John stayed quiet about that, or even Sherlock.

Maybe the writers thought it was moot...? Sherlock already mentioned Rosie to Mycroft when they were trapped in 221B by the patience grenade. Sherlock suggested John might be allowed to say goodbye, Mycroft reminded them that any movement would set the grenade off so it wasn't possible for him to do that.
