When they cut to the prison scene, doesn't the wording on the screen say "18 months later"? But, when Lucy and Ben are talking, she says "It's been a year."

Yes, I know: 18 months does INCLUDE a year, but if that were the case, most people would probably say "It's been over a year."

She meant its been a year since the last vist. That's why she asks him to come visit her again.

Ohhhh. I couldn't figure that one out either, and came on here to see if someone had an explanation. That makes sense.
