Wow, the rating sure went down fast

What happened? Last time I checked (few hours ago) it was 9.7 or 9.8. Now it's 5.3.

It's not this bad of a movie, I think. Really, it sank right down to the first trilogy's ratings. Not that I pay that much attention to IMDb ratings anyway, but this caught me by surprise.

I think that the ratings are right. It was a good movie, and then it fell apart at the last third. I think that there were too many storylines to juggle or something and they couldn't fit in all of the characters. The reason that the other movies were better was that the six canister villains had no lines and could be as intimidating as they wanted with one central villain (Makuta, of course (now his name is Teridax)) to speak to the heroes and fill them with fear. The second movie (legends of Metru Nui) was so far the best of the four with the first one (Mask of Light) coming in second, the third one (Web of Shadows) coming in third, and TLR (the current one) coming in fourth. I do want to see the sequel, though, as this movie was set up that way. I hope that next year will be better than this one. I will praise the day when we go back to Aqua Magna.

While I completely agree with that (I even used the very same words to describe how I felt about it), I also think the other three didn't even last that far. The only thing I truthfully dislike about this movie is the anti-climatic final battle and the way things are left unresolved at the end (which will hopefully be resolved better in the sequel), while the first three, in my opinion, leave a lot more to be desired than just a decent end-battle. Even the villains, who although were a lot more developed and more "villainous" than Tuma, have all been defeated almost just as pathetically as him. I do not expect anyone else to see it this way, but I do think the rating for this movie, being less error-filled and more easy to follow than the others, should not be so awfully low.

20 votes of the 103 is a 1. 51 users voted 10. I never understood these extremes, can most people only see things in black and white?

EDIT:

Hah, denial over, I fully understand it now. Wow, I really underestimated the first three movies.
