Not much more than you'd expect in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV show from the 90's.
What happened? They ran out of special effects money?
Max Steel was more of a science-fiction mystery origin story then a standard superhero film with big enormous fights everywhere, the budget was obviously low so you have to judge it for what it is.
