Different, unsettling, quirky, gory, horrifying and funny. The "greasers"/rock-a-billies gave this movie at least 5 extra stars.
shareI kind of liked it myself but I couldn't help but think it was equal parts "Sons of Anarchy" and "Superntural" with a dash of "Evil Dead". Not a bad thing really they're all really solid ingrediants. :)

Just watched this earlier this morning & for the most part, I enjoyed it & was impressed. Though, I really thought they overdid it with many of the alien invaders "lightshow" effects. I thought it could have been a much more effective & creepy film without them.
Don't get me wrong, I loved how The Butcher Bros. took their melding of a hardcore biker flick & THE EVIL DEAD & twisted it into something else entirely. I didn't see that coming. Kudos on that, 'cause honestly, I usually see almost everything coming before the end of genre films & fiction as well. I'm pretty jaded like that after some 45 years of mass exposure. LOL
Anyhow, I LOVED the whole Lovecraftian angle & wish they could have stuck with that more, rather than using the "lightshow" & the "mothership" at the end. But, all in all, I was pleased with the flick & this being my first Butcher Bros. film, I definitely plan on seeing THE HAMILTONS now as well.
i rewatch everytime this is on a movie channel. today i bought the dvd for 3 dollars at big lots

well ive seen dvd,s of cry wolf and the Grudge sold for 99 cents. i do not feel robbed because violent kind was good, who doesent love Tiffany Shepis
