Good or bad? What is this?
Dante's Inferno.
Is this even an anime or what?
I'd like some opinions of who already watched this.

I'm going to be watching it in a few minutes Phil and I'll post back after it's over :)

Just watch it. Very interesting. Much better than Dead Space (in production, I mean).
shareThe movie is damn interesting/good if you ask me. Presently surprised. Thought it was just another lackluster animated movie but I was wrong. Didn't like the art style of the last segment of the movie, though(the rest was great).
shareI don't know what you guys are watching but this version does not have anything to do with the the upcoming game from EA, which is a total distortion of the story. This version is not only the real thing but it's also narrated in Dante's own words, at least the Italian version of it.
Cheers!
Then where is the right board for the animated movie based on the game? We're on the wrong board. lol
shareThought this was pretty good, i enjoyed it alot until i noticed they switched the art artists but it was enjoyable up to the violence circle. If they just could have stayed with the first one directed by victor Cook ! But either way really cool video with the main character as the biggest sinner of them all ^^
shareWill i be Spoiled about the Game, couse i want to play it? Is this the same Story only in Animated?
shareIt's animated with changing styles - I just submitted a review. It's enoyable but I fear that it will spoil the game plot for you if you watch it before playing, I am dissapointed I didn't wait now.
shareI thought it was excelent!
Exceed my expectations by far, it is very easy for me to turn off a movie if it doesn't suit me but this was a pleasure to watch.
Best anime to come out recently, should not be missed.
shareIt kind awoke my resentment towards religion yet again.
shareDante's criticisms of certain ecclesiastical authorities derived from his orthodoxy and adherence to Catholic theology and doctrine. He was, in fact, deeply religious. The filmmakers miss this aspect entirely, instead interpreting his criticisms as anti-religious and anti-Catholic. Divorcing Dante's poetry from his religion is a distortion.

i actually got the very things you say this movie lacks. I don't think they missed that aspect at all. (i'm talking about the EA based movie. most of the people on this board think they're on that movie's board)
