first of all, I absolutely LOVED this movie, even with the ending being so open, but I'm not going to give out any spoilers. let's just say it really makes you reflect on life, and how much it's worth to choose for life, even though sometimes it's just too hard, and the suffering isn't worth the effort...

I was just wondering what happened to Anneleen, the girlfriend of Xavier. she looked so fit, did she already get lungs? or did she maybe have a milder form of the illness? because before she had the child they said she would also live maybe 5, 10 years...

Well, if you're still interested to know the answer to your question after 2 years: Anneleen did not have a transplant. We know this because when she took her daughter to visit tom ,who's waiting for lungs, she told her that 'mommy might have to have a transplant to some day' ergo she did not already have one.
Her sudden improved state can be explained by Anneleen having a child. Apparently the pregnancy messed up her hormones a bit and that seemed to affect the severeness of her muco.
