Bf when they made that comment. There were many dumb things about this movie but that was at the top.
Hilarious, yes, but if you read the trivia on the site, apparently the whole film was filmed without much planning or direction, which would naturally provide some plot holes and generally parts that don't fit perfectly.

And why didn't they take the weapons from the dead Mexicans? That made no sense. Still like the film though.
