Anybody notice that her top teeth are really white and almost bucktooth, and her bottom teeth are yellow and look like they are one tooth - almost like she's wearing Invisalign on her bottom teeth? It appears that her top teeth stick out further because of veneers, but something else going on on the bottom teeth. Very odd.

Combined with her dirty hair and line around the lips, it was painful. I cannot believe Simon Monjack was allowed to do her hair and makeup. Such a bad last tribute to BM.

I agree. I was flippin though channels and this film was playing on LifeTime - I didn't even recognize her at first. She looked terrible.

Her hair was so bad, I didn't even notice her teeth. She is wearing a lot of oil/product in some scenes and then she is all fluffed up in the 'crazy' scenes. Ridiculous.

She really f'd up her hair as career progressed. She started out with really pretty brown curly hair and ended up with orange/blondish/black roots .... ulch!

I thought the exact same thing about her teeth. I noticed her eyebrows looked weird and her top set of teeth were really white and almost seemed fake. At different times she did look kind of bucktooth or her teeth were too big for her mouth. I don't know if this had something to do with her sickness. I am not even sure what she died of, I thought it was something to do with her heart. Regardless, she always looked beautiful and healthy with every character she played. It is obvious she is sick in this movie b/c of her fraile frame and the condition or lack of attention to her make up and facial features. Very tragic what happened to her. She was a great actress and always had a beautiful smile.

She died of a combination of things, mainly pneumonia and anemia. She seemed really weak leading up to her death (judging by her appearance in the movie) so she might have been troubled by something else. There were rumors that if she had gone to the ER for the pneumonia, she would have lived, but didn't want to cause a scene of paparazzi by leaving the house. Here is a quote from CNN:

Actress Brittany Murphy's death was an accident caused by a combination of pneumonia, an iron deficiency and "multiple drug intoxication," the Los Angeles County coroner said Thursday.

The primary cause of death was "community acquired pneumonia," but drugs found by the toxicology screening were believed to "play a role in her death," said coroner's spokesman Craig Harvey. "They just were not the primary cause, so they figured into the cause of death, so that's why it's an accidental death."

Murphy's husband, British screenwriter Simon Monjack, has told People magazine the actress had "laryngitis and flu-like symptoms" at the time of her death.

Monjack said Murphy used Vicoprofen to relieve pain from severe menstrual cramps.

"She was on an antibiotic and was taking cough medicine," he said.
