Am I crazy??

I didn't actually see the movie. I went by mom's and she was watching it and I came in about 32min. before it ended. When I asked her what she was watching she kind of gave me the basic plot outline and, am I crazy or is it a remake or alternate version of another movie?? The whole taken to hospital, after procedure they are gone/disappeared/never existed and she/they think she is crazy, as it turns out the missing person is involved to carry out some devious scam or what ever sounds so extremely familiar. I can't remember the name or specific details of the other movie except that wasn't exactly like this movie, Brittany Murphy definitely wasn't in it, and it was a much more mainstream seeming production. It wasn't like a made for tv movie like this one seemed to be.

Anybody else know what I am talking about or am I going crazy?

Not sure about a hospital environment, but this kind of plot isn't uncommon. Jodie Foster's Flightplan is like that, where her daughter goes missing on a plane and everyone thinks she's crazy.

It goes back much further than Flight Plan. The Lady Vanishes, back in the 1930s, and Dangerous Crossing, from the 40s, both used a similar plot point.

And there is the changeling with Angelina Jolie where her son is taken and they replace him with someone who isn't her son and try tell her she's crazy and put her in an asylum
