I can't believe there are actually people out there that think this movie is funny. They must get off on violence. Death is now funny. The short MacGruber segments on SNL were hilarious, partly because they were very short. But after awhile they would get old. Doing a whole movie was a mistake because it wasn't actually funny. Not even a stupid kind of funny. Just plain boring as hell. MacGruber looked like a complete moron throughout the whole thing. The whole movie was forced. Seriously. Watching MacGuyver is much more entertaining.

I'm a big fan of Old School SNL and I laughed my ass off when I saw MacGruber. Funny is funny. This movie's got it.

This era's SNL is terrible as was this movie. I have to agree that there is NOTHING funny here. I want to say that "people under 25 years old today" know nothing about humor because it's those young tools that support this crap. Yet, it was made by people well over 30 and used a TV character from the 80's as its base. Maybe saying "for the most part, today's generation isn't funny" hits the mark after all.

You are pathetic. YOU don't know funny. This movie is funnier than any SNL movie . Also , u don't have the sense to realize its a matter of opinion. don't tell people they're wrong in liking this funny movie. GROW UP

I for one am an intelligent guy, i base that on years of academic accomplishments and a good career in accounting. I absolutely love this movie (some scenes drag, but when the jokes come out or the complete pisstakes of the 80's action movies... they are almost unbeatable by any comedy.

Having said that 90% of my friends despise it and don't find it at all funny.

i am a movie buff, i like comedies that the "macgruber haters" love , and i can understand why people would hate macgruber but i just dont.. its hilarious in places it tries to be...

death isnt funny.... the way they completely exaggerate a killing is hilarious... its not clever comedy its retarded comedy and i love both clever and retarded. i guess im the same with music open minded and like all genres from classical to hip-hop/grime.

Im a lucky guy to be so open minded and appreciative of all things made. Im like a god for movie makers... because im every audience.

Some people just dont get it what can I say. Just like some people dont know how to program their time on their VCR's. You got old dude. It happens. You just lost your sense of humor. Curious, what was the last movie u found movie animal house or the jerk? Since when is violence funny is one of the most prudish things i've ever heard.

I know i know... Them dam kids with their nintendos and hibbidy bobbidy music. And whats with everyone driving super fast nowadays?

Can't relate to the OP.

He says the MacGruber skits on SNL were hilarious...I don't think they were very funny.

He says the MacGruber movie is not funny...I think it's a comedic masterpiece.

Even the most primitive society has an innate respect for the insane.

I would guess that a majority of "macgruber" fans have never even seen an episode of "macgyver" and fancy themselves too good to ever watch real tv
