I think this has to be one of the most stunningly bad films I have ever seen. I think this is the first time I have gotten on an IMDb board just to vent, but this puppy sucked.
It's as if it were written by a group of 15 year olds passing a bong around. I don't mind silliness or even bathroom humor but this is a study in both and the study was done poorly. Avoid this movie if you can.

this is the worst comedy I've ever seen. I'm an hour in and I can't watch anymore. Not only is it completely unfunny it's borderline demonic with it's bizarre crudeness. Wow. How did Will Forte ever get in a position to do comedy?

Nope.. not even good enough to have been written by 15 year olds. I like SNL and the actors but this was pretty terrible. I'm glad I didn't pay to go see it in the movie.. which I had originally planned when it came out.
shareI gave up on this movie when Macgruber was shuffling around naked with celery up his butt. That's how far I got in this trash. But I do admit though that I thought it was cool seeing Jericho, Mark Henry, The Big Show, and Great Khali, and Kane...but for only minute. :(

Awful stupid movie made by people kidding themselves that they are funny.
This movie was better than Pineapple Express. I like Seth Rogen movies, but that one I got thru a good 20 minutes, if that. And some people want to make it like it was a work of comedic art. While Macgruber certainly was not, and never will be, it's a much funnier movie.
