ok. why was everybody so upset that Amber decided to put her nickname on a boat. first of all, its underneath so you wouldnt really see it anyways. second, even if it was a personal thing, she used it to mean how the boat would benefit the colony. third, she is the one working on the boat and people personalize the things they work on all the time. and then they accuse her of thinking of only herself? I mean, she was right. although she is there for them, in their current situation you would have to really care about yourself. she wasnt being heartless about it. she even took it off without throwing a fit and so somebody would dislike her less. some people in this group.

If my answers frighten you, then you should cease asking scary questions.

I don't know. That was bizarre. That had to be some made up drama in the otherwise sleep inducing Season 2. If I'm surviving on a cup of food a day and having to worry about someone stealing what little I have the last thing I'm going to be worried about is what someone names a d@mn boat.

Go figure.

I had forgotten how terrible Season 2 was until I watched it on Planet Green. I really enjoyed Season 1. It was amazing all the stuff they built from nothing in Season 1. What did they build in Season 2? A windmill. Pathetic. They didn't even build any real weapons in Season 2.

Unless specified as fact, everything above is 100% my opinion.

It was Becka giving her crap.
Amber= A strong woman and Becka= not so much so she has to take her digs where she can.
Becka didn't like her so she started it and made it a HUGE deal.
What bothered me is that no one came to Amber's defense.

Yes, that was a waste of time and very petty for them to attack Amber like a pack of rabid dogs over a couple of letters on a boat. Becka should have stayed quiet especially since "she" was the one to get kidnapped and cause the whole colony to lose valuable food, which also showed that the colonist had major weakness issues...

I thought it was odd, too, but assume that things happened off-screen we didn't see. Tha name thing, I think, was just a last straw...a final example of some kind of behavior from Amber that pissed them off. Jim and Sian both said Amber always talked about herself; something about everything out of her mouth being "me, mine or I".

As for Becka, I agree Becka didn't like Amber, but I don't think it had to do with Amber being a "strong woman". Sally was a strong woman, and more than that, took away Reno's affections from Becka...but Becka still liked her. Becka and Amber just didn't like each other, and I can guess why. To Amber, Becka is probably the kind of girl she loathes; pretty, popular, but kinda useless. To Becka, Amber is an unnattractive, unpleasant girl who seems bossy and tried to hard to give Becka's "group" direction too quickly.

Here's to the health of Cardinal Puff.
