I didn't think the violent attacks were a good idea. They put people in a situation where they might experience real suffering if they don't inflict real pain on the fake attackers. So there is a logical motivation to actually injure people. This isn't good. The show's participants are coddled in so many other ways, it makes no sense for the violence to be real. They could achieve a similar end by using live action role play rules.
