In season two with the pepperspray mob...that would have been the dumbest thing they could do. Up until then I would play nice, and push and shove and not hurt. But once I got sprayed I would not be nice. I was in the military and I have been trained how to fight through pepperspray, and trust me I would have injured allot of those stunt actors. You can't go
"Ok you have to protect this bunch of life saving supplies, but you can't do more then light fighting..Oh but they can use pepper spray and your light fighting won't repel them."

Yeah that would really pissed me off too but once you get sprayed with pepper spray, you're not kicking anyone's ass.

I agree with OP, which is the folly of the design. There's a big motivation to be violent, and not much dissuading it. I would have gone for the those with the pepper spray first. Sprayed the crowd immediately. Those actors would not have continued on their guided route, and all packed together like that, the pepper spray would have turned the tables immediately. But seeing how much violence they allowed(even murdering one of the colonists in season 3 apparently) I'd break their bones. Later they'd end up thinking it was a funny story to tell their friends back home, but I would have snapped their bones like twigs one by one, and the horror of that would certainly put that actor out of commission, and hopefully convince others to back off.
