Boring and akward movie...

...couldn't get through it.

You probably couldn't get through it because you couldn't relate to it. Anyone with mental illness like Bipolar disorder and/or Autism would be interested in this movie.

I know many people with the same issues as were shown here and this really provided an interesting view into how one family coped.
I thought the relationship between his brother and mother was heartwarming.

I loved the movie. I saw it twice. I don't have a tie to bipolar or autism. I just found the family's story riveting. I enjoyed being a "fly on a wall". When "reality shows" first came about, I thought it would go in this direction. I remember the Loud family series on PBS. That was ok at the time - much more interesting when I saw it 20 years later. This movie is in the same vein. Really good!

Poignant film about unrelenting hope and boundless love helping an autistic child to escape a dark and silent world. The Murray family, seemingly golden, have great tribulation going back several generations. This film demonstrates that love truly conquers monumental challenges and the spirit of man soars with hope and faith.

Wonderful and inspirational film.
