There must've been a major improvement in simunition, since the late ninties. The old stuff was so underpowered that semi autos wouldn't even cycle. Now the AR's seem to tear through the stuff fine, although Wes had a FTF in one episode.

That could be, or the manufacturing has improved over the years. Back in the late 90's simunition hits hurt much less than a paintball. Now WW sounds like they hit pretty hard.
shareWhen I was in (early 2000s) Simunition stung pretty bad, much worse than paintball which I played all through high school (the in the woods sneak around type not the indoors urban type), and it was usually good enough to cycle through just like live ammunition barring the occasional jam, but let's be honest here...M-16s jam with regular ammo all the time too.
