90% of college grads are clueless

About 90% just get a ton of debt and end up in some completely unrelated field.

When I was getting my doctorates, it was only real winners.

But most of the 4 year people I just felt bad for, they are like robots.

Education buys many things, but it doesn't buy humility. I don't judge anyone based on 1) their job or 2) their level of education. It's not about "winners" or "losers." In this capitalist society, technically even the winners are still cogs in the machine. The entire working class needs solidarity, not to be divided by class warfare. It's that mentality that holds us all back, and that's exactly what the corporations want.

I question that statistic you provided. I can only think of 1 personal friend who didn't do anything with their engineering degree and that's only because they ended up finding a truer calling. The others are doing exactly what they studied; law, engineering, masters degree healthcare and seem to enjoy their careers. People with bachelors degrees in arts or communications don't really have a direction but use their degrees as stepping stones to other programs or careers, doesn't mean they cant have a high quality of life.

Not exactly. I struggled to get a job in my chosen field after university. I kept going for interviews, spent hours rehearsing questions and applied for a lot of jobs. There were lots of people going for the role and several had been shortlisted for interviews. I struggle with interviews because I have problems with my communication when I get nervous. For months and months, so much pressure was put on to me. I felt 'useless' and as if I didn't want to be here anymore. Maybe I hadn't found my calling. Now, I wait on and do other jobs at a hotel. This has helped me increase my confidence and I enjoy working with lots of different people. I'm the happiest I've been in a long time. Life's too short to regret anything. It's not easy for graduates at the best of times!
