I’ve been grimly gritting my teeth hoping this will improve but really this last episode about the urban guerrillas was really the pits. I mean really.
You have the nasty police officer who beat up the suspects to get information. It’s amazing that neither mans defence solicitor noticed they had been pummelled into oblivion.

You have the nasty detective actually signing for a pistol to give to his undercover. Apart from the fact these would be marked Metropolitan Police, didn’t the armoury sergeant ever ask for it back or wonder where it had got to?

And finally you had the amazing revelation that it was the undercover police officer who shot the man in the bank. So then apart from the fact it was all captured on CCTV and there were plenty of witnesses to this fact no one thought to bring this up? “Oh by the way the chap you just sent down for murder didn’t do it the woman did, just thought I’d mention it”

I thought the last episode where an undercover officer went into a prison as one person and then returned later as a police officer was totally unbelievable, but I was wrong when I thought this couldn’t get any worse.

This is a rubbish series trying to make capital out of Keeley Hawes and the excellent Ashes to Ashes series.

By the way does anyone know what the coloured officer does? He just seems to wander around scowling at everyone and being rude and offensive.

I've been watching it in the hopes that all these great actors will be put to good use, but apparently it's more fun to just have them milling around being dull.

I think the series is flawed in its premise...the identity theft squad? really? because who doesn't want to watch credit card fraud drama? so they're having to overcompensate for a boring premise with ludicrous plots!

And how many laws and police procedures do they ignore in each episode? A police officer stabs someone in the leg and isn't even suspended pending inquiries? The closest they get is Sergeant Moody-Face stroking his chin and thinking "something fishy's going on here"?? And none of them seem to be able to keep their mouths shut when they disapprove of something, they just blurt out whatever is in their heads! They should all be sacked! They are absolutely terrible police officers!

Oh, and bob-1135, I don't think the term 'coloured' is really acceptable these days, Shaun Parkes is black not purple with green stripes.

Well I wish they would make up their minds. Not acceptable to whom? Perhaps I can start complaining that if I was really white I would probably be very, very dead! OK everyone I want to be described as a slightly off pink, with darker bits where I've been exposed to the sun and other bits which are a bit paler.

Apparantly policing was very different a couple of years back, with dodgy cops the beat people up and never got into trouble, just because today a cop gets suspended for defending himself againt anarchist demonstraters who are swearing and shouting and acting threatening.

They didn't catch the actual shooting on cctv, nor did any witnesses specifically see who fired the gun, and I don't think the dodgy cop particularly cared either way; he got to take the a**holes in.

It wasn't too unbelievable. He went once as Brendon. And again as Bloom.
