This show is quite dire

I never thought I'd say that Justin Lee Collins was the "talented" one of that duo, but based on their two chat show attempts, Justin comes out very much ahead of Alan's awful show. The stand-up is bad. The guests have been dull. And Alan simply isn't a good interviewer.

Can't agree more! Its such a bad show. I mean, so bad it almost blows your mind! Its that bad!

I don't find him funny. He's out dated, ripping off and re hashing a dozen other (better) acts from the 70's. He is the prime example of someone who uses their sexuality in replace of a personality. His stand up is weak and obvious and panders to the lowest common denominator. He is truly repulsive to look at, not just because of his physical appearance but also because of the way he tries to be cute and cheeky, its nauseating. I know someone who had to work with hi and he is apparently not nice to work with, not a bad or nasty person, just a diva beyond his talent and very, very rude.

So his show... its a painful rehash of Graham Norton's old show and he is a terrible, terrible interviewer. He interrupts his guests if they are talking to long to make a 'cock' 'gay' or 'wank' joke. Its self indulgent, not very funny and unprofessional. Not to mention a really boring set of guests to start off with.

I don't care/mind/have issue with other people liking him but he is an LCD entertainer and he just lacks originality and real talent.

Grrrrrrrr! What a dreadful little creep.

Apart from the noticable pauses between he and his guests "chatting". I do believe that if Alan wasn't gay he'd lose about 75% of his material!

Not to mention his guests are on the show quicker than a heartbeat, if he asks them half a dozen questions they'd be lucky, its kinda ironic the show being called chatty man, as chatting seems to be the last damn thing he does.
