The end is nigh?

Alan Carr has suggested that the show may be nearing its end. Not one episode of series 16 attracted an audience of over 1 million viewers.

Despite some reports in the press saying that the show has been "cancelled" - that's not actually the case as it is confirmed as returning for a Christmas special and another New Year Specstacular.

However, there may not be another series of the show in 2017.

Channel 4 have already previously announced that Alan Carr will be hosting a new Friday night show called Alan Carr's Happy Hour that will feature guests taking part in games, sketches and challenges.
