I just saw him get clobbered in the episode "Undercover" - knocked out, actually. But, no, he didn't fight back.

He shot a gun into a mattress in the Boat Cruise one.
And i think he shot a gun into a pile of sand in the episode with the bloke married to the cripple with all the gadgets in the house.
