Cooking scene with Martin Landau in "Double Shock"

Very funny, breezy scene with Landau's character (The host of a live audience cooking show) and Falk. It totally looked as if they improvised part or most of it where they were breaking eggs for a recipe while delighting the live audience.

Anyone who is familiar with this scene and/or a fanatic about the show, know more?

According to Peter Falk that scene was almost entirely improvised.

I find Oscar Bait infinitely more interesting than ticket bait

Just watched it and it certainly seems improvised! Columbo saying Uh over and over and the crowd laughing felt improvised. It was a good scene and I agree they made it up as they went to me.
