We want a Sequel You hear us Dreamworks?

Mortal instruments city of bones sucked big time. Acting was horrible, sfx were horrible, the story was not making any sense and it flopped big time but even then they're going with a sequel. In comparison if you look at I am number four. Acting was decent, sfx were stunning, story was a bit rushed but it made sense and it earned twice as much as it's budget. But still there's no sequel? Seriously? what the dang DREAMWORKS??

I agree totally..

Would love to see a sequel, there's such a good opportunity here to make a series of awesome movies and the cast is stella. Come on Dreamworks get ur finger out!

Are they not books? They should do more films. I enjoyed it. It was a great story. Suits older children too and easy to watch. I'd love to see more of these made and follow number 4 and 6 on their adventures to find the others. Has to be done!!

Highly doubt it'll happen, Pettyfer will more than likely not come back

Now you are getting sequels of Divergent even before the movie is released.

Really liked this movie. I always hoped they made another

I think the material is better suited for TV, the books, especially the first novel, read like television rather than movies.

So all the really lame and boring sappy girl books are being picked up for multiple sequels but one that is way better then all those movies put together and is more suited for guys gets ignored and left in the dust?! WTF!!!

After the movie came out, Pettyfer and Argon started dating and then their was this huge incident with them where he did something to her. They since have broken up and probably haven't talk to each other since. Only way is if they reboot the series. I think they made an mistake making the film so quickly after the book's release. The first book came out in August 2010 and the film followed in April 2011, only 8 months. I think they were backing on opening that not a ton of people would have read the book so they wouldn't be comparing it to the novel and complaining about how it didn't follow. But the negative side effects is that there wasn't a huge fanbase that would go see the movie and generate at lest 60% of the ticket sales or some figure. Then it seems that they probably only marketed to boys by showing trailers and commercials on Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. I've read City of Bones but have yet to see the movie. I did hear about all the bad stuff, mostly with box office performance and they are movie ahead with a sequel.

truthfully, a sequel for this would probably be pretty cool. this movie was just a set up for the real story. i was not overly impressed with this one at all (gave it a 3/10) but i want to see number 6's story. she was the most interesting of all the characters and teresa palmer is dead sexy on top of that.
