loved the movie but one thing i always thought was stupid

is when the cops in town thought that Henry is a terrorist simply because he had security cameras around his house and several monitors the computers wouldn't have had anything on it that would lead them to believe they were terrorists and based on the fact that henry had a software that could purge the internet of anything with John's picture in it would mean that they would have never been able to get into the computer in the first place

on top of that they had no legal reason to search there house. no judge would have signed off on a search Warrant. not even in a small town. even than its not that small of a town it looks like a pretty good size town that likely didn't have backwoods judges as in the judge would know the law and not just be there because everyone knows him.

I have to disagree... a judge would definitely provide a search warrant if one of his buddies in the police department asked...

Small Towns in the US are the most corrupt places in this country. I grew up in a small town and bought my first house in another small town. I got screwed by the corruption in several ways... property lines, easements, and right-of-ways changed. I had the plot diagram from when I bought the house... and then I got the new one that was magically changed because a town council member needed more parking for his new rental properties across the street. That's just one example of how small towns are corrupt... so much favoritism for town & city police, firemen, and town council members.

They thought he was a terrorist because they didn't understand all of the things they found in the house. Terrorism is the go-to charge in a WTF-case, they are hardly going to charge them for making moonshine or people trafficing.. but having lots of tech and continuously moving around points to terrorism.
