There are 58 National parks, but this series only seems to deal extensively with 4 or 5 of them . It just seems " Yosemite, Yosemite, Yosemite, blah blah blah Yellowstone Yellowstone blah blah Mesa Verde blah blah Yosemite ( oh here's this park that we will mention just this once and never again ), back to Yosemite ... "
shareI think the main idea was to show the history and origin of the national parks system as a whole, and Yosemite and Yellowstone were hugely important in that.
I'm with you, though, I would like to have seen more of other parks like Redwoods, Glacier, Zion, Arches, Acadia, Bryce Canyon, etc. At least we got a lot of Grand Canyon content. This show actually got me to go to the Grand Canyon for the first time, for my fifth wedding anniversary. One of the best experiences of my life.
