Movie was a alittle disturbing

I enjoyed the movie and thought CJ Adams was great in it! I think the movie sends a beautiful ad inspiring message and was well done. It showed that if you just be yourself, never give up and not over-react to things life can be as beautiful as a garden. Timothy wanted everyone to stop and feel the sun and smell the roses. However, I also found the movie to b disturbing and weird. Was Timothy a ghost or spirit? He was a little spooky when he first emerged from the garden; quiet and calm. When Cindy asked if he ran away from home he just said, "No" very calmly. I found that scene to be creepy. Timothy knew he only had so much time with Cindy and Jim, but Timothy wasn't sad. Was he not sad because he knew his life didn't end, he would go into another child's body for another couple who couldn't conceive? Timothy looks and personalty were the make up Cindy and Jim wanted. Like did Timothy know he would be transformed into another child for another set of parents who couldn't conceive? His spirit would go into a new person with a new name, new personalty traits and looks? His life would be interesting then because he would always be meeting and spending time with new people. He would get a new look and personality every fall. Is his duty in life to help people who couldn't have children and inspire them not to give up? Who did their family and town think he was after he showed them his leaves and then went away? I can't believe Cindy and Jim were allowed to adopt a new child after the crazy story they told the adoption agency. I thought they would never believe them and be locked up in the nut house, let alone give them a child. All in all, I thought the movie and the lessons it taught were great. I just wanted to know if anyone else found some parts to be disturbing or creepy.

Life's a gift and I don't intend on wasting it!

"To make each day count. To making it count!"

- Ahh! Badder they are, bigger the reward -

Hehee, my thoughts exactly!
Seriously, it left ME wondering that Timothy might not actually perish, but move to another couple in need of hope, and that the Agency should call them nuts and show them the door... Unless, of course, the agency asked ALL the witnesses in town - walked around, checked out the gifted leaves, etc...
Also, I love explanations, especially visual ones - and here everything was too dark and creepy...

I took it that Timothy was there to teach them a few life lessons before they adopted. Not to feel too keenly when your child doesn't fit the mould, trust children to make choices without forcing your own opinions & feelings onto them. The list goes on.It's such a feel good film, my 7 year old loves it.

That is one of the points that the Nostalgia Critic brought up during his review of this movie
