stolen storyline from Little Otik (Greedy Guts. 2000)???

i noticed the similar plotline of desperate to concieve parents digging up a child. In Little Otik the baby is a root the father digs up and the mother bonds with. The whole film is much darker and nightmarish as the growing creature starts devouring various visitors..This Disney film by camparison is sanitised, smaltzy family viewing. I prefer the darker Little Otik.
