This was awful

Terrible beyond description. I can't think of ONE good thing about this atrocious production.
The plot didn't make sense (even if you accept the premise, which, to me, could have been really good). The parents are terrible people, they continually put the kid in bad situations because of they want, like the soccer practice and the incredibly embarassing music scene, they let him almost drown, they don't notice the leaves falling, and the father tries his hardest to make him hate his grandfather.
The plot really makes absolutely sense. Why would they jump into the conclusion that he was their kid? Wouldn't keeping him if they were wrong be essentially the same thing as kidnapping? Wouldn't literally any responsible adult at least call the police on missing reports? How did they even manage to enroll him in school? Why would any adoption agent stay there and listen to that story? WHY WOULD ANY ADOPTION AGENCY GIVE THIS COUPLE ANOTHER KID?
This film made me so pissed, because it's patronising, it spits on your intelligence and flies in the face of good storytelling.
This is honestly the laziest, most awfully put together film I've ever seen in my life.
