Could be the best movie ever

But I doubt it.

I won't pre-judge the film. I don't understand those who roundly condemn it without even seeing it.

Its called learning...

Would you care to elaborate?

bullshit. People prejudge films all the time, it's the reason a person goes to movie A and not movie B on a weekend. I completely understand why people shit all over some movies, it is usually because the actor in it or director of it has a track record of being in or directing shitty movies. In the case of Indy, the people involved have a bad track record in recent times... but more critical than that is the movie is now being done by Disney that has managed to fuck up every franchise that they acquired from Lucasfilms.

I'll most likely see it, but I will likely wait until it shows up on some streaming service as I expect it to be woke and shit in a combination that goes beyond my imagination. This is a franchise that was probably best left at the Last Crusade and if they did anything with it, it would probably have best been a reboot with a different actor.

OK, I take your point about seeing A and not B. But my question is still why the loathing for a film that is not even being filmed yet. We don't know if it will be 'woke' or not, so I intend to reserve judgment on it until I actually see it.

That's all I'm saying.

And just FTR, I despise 'woke-ism'.

reply

Kathleen Kennedy is the producer so you don't need to ask if it will be woke you only need to ask how woke it will be.
