I actually really like old man Indy

Indiana Jones is one of the only action characters that works well as an old man. He's not nearly as physical as characters played by Stallone or Schwarzenegger and instead he uses his brain. After all, Indy is a scholar and one of the few scholarly action heroes out there. To me it makes a lot of sense that 80-year-old Indy would still be getting called to travel the world and solve historical problems because fighting has always been a secondary trait to him.
