She's very good at comedy!

True, her character in "Solo" was so funny it was the first Star Wars movie to ever lose money at the box office.

oh no! a woman!

Exactly, why is Disney afraid of casting trannies in Indiana Jones movies? It's current year!

How is it DOA? no one scene has been shot yet, did you have similar views when Karen Allen was cast as the female lead in Raiders?

Nice apples to oranges comparison.

If we're comparing Phoebe Waller Bridge and Karen Allen, it's more like apples to melons comparison šŸ˜

Can't wait to watch that dumpster fire bomb, because it will be another nail in the coffin Bob Iger is having made for Kathleen Kennedy's career.

reply

How did this series go from the beautiful Elsa in "Last Crusade" to the ugly cow Fleabag Waller Bridge? Oh yeah, because of Disney and Kathleen the KAREN Kennedy.

reply

diversity, uggos gotta be represented too

It's amusing because if Ford was still young and robust there's no way this girl would have ever been cast opposite him.

reply

If Disney would CGI-out Waller and replace with Jennifer Connelly, Iā€™d see the film. :)

Good idea!

The big problem I see here is the same problem I saw with the last one. These are fan fiction movies made with a primary actor who is too old to perform the stunts his character is best known for. Harrison Ford is a good actor, but he's not young. As for the Phoebe Waller Bridge issue, I don't know as I've never watched anything she's in. She's probably just as annoying as Mutt was in the last movie. Sidekicks are not always easy. I'm surprised they didn't bring back Short Round instead. Not only does it make sense, but he's the right age and production studios could get their ESG points.
