Every drama has an antagonist (bad guy)
It is not racist to label a hostile invading force that is the perpetrator and initiator of unprovoked genocide as bad. If calling them bad might be racist, then calling them good might just be stupid. There were defectors, red eye, lexi etc however but I don't really see the relevance of your comment.
