Was it wrong of me to want to see Pope beat Tom Mason into oblivion?

Nope. Tom Mason, or at least SOMEONE in the Mason crew needed to be sacrificed. Lexington doesn't count. I basically agree with Pope's whole argument for hating Tom Mason. He sacrifices everyone except his own.
shareI think that argument is bunk. It wasn't Mason's fault that he or his sons weren't "sacrificed", particularly since they put themselves into the heart of the action time after time. If Mason remained away from the action whenever duty called, then maybe I could see Pope's argument. Let's not forget that Pope may have made the ridiculous decision to go patrolling with his girlfriend far away from camp. Still not sure what they were doing out there.

They were sent out by the Colonel to find out where the skitters and flying bugs were coming from. Colonel sent Sarah out and Pope went with her. I could've done without the "Pope Breaks Bad" episode. share
Ah. Well I thought it odd that they would be traveling only about a foot inside the treeline, chatting away the whole time about life, while a column of skedders marches down the road next to them. Seriously?
