'I see Jack's wife right now'....What?

Even though I knew what happened that piece of dialogue confused me because Boyce (killer) said this while talking TO Jack.

I was assuming perhaps Jack hired Boyce to off the wife of a "friend of his named Jack" which may also explain Boyce's extreme confusion and talking to Jack in third person, but then Jack went off on how she ruined his life. So Boyce was just being cunning by talking in the third person? It sounds stupid but I was trying to see if there was a bigger reason for Boyce to get mixed up than just confusing his left from right....

Pretty sure he says "I'm looking at YOUR EX wife now", but with an accent. A bit like "I'm look in' atcha ex-wife now". Sounds a bit like Jack.
