shareIt's based on "A Short History of Progress", by Ronald Wright. The book recounts the "black box" recorders left behind by other civilizations as a warning for us now. The Easter Island tragedy is particularly revealing and I hope this film explores this fully.
But I have my doubts that this film will find the right audience i.e. people unaware of the predicament we humans are in right now - and are willing to listen and learn something new - perhaps in Europe, but the American social/political scene is so embroiled in a left/right farce that no-one wants to take stock and actually do the right thing not only for themselves (which at present time they seem content with the status quo) but also for humanity as a whole.
I watched the NFB.ca trailer and read the cast list. A sad reflection on the intellectual morons that our marxist universities are creating. The dystopian world of idiots like Suzuki/Atwood. I'm surprised Venture had anything to do with it. Voting 1 for propoganda.
