Will this address economic hitmen?

According to Ebert's review it sounds like it might take a look at the practice of people like Perkins and how they bankrupt and then trap various countries through loans they can't pay back and then exploit by making them take on projects that destroy their country from the inside out.

That's one of the topics and very interesting to see this highlighted from the inside out. If you are able to, catch it on iPlayer now: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01jrlsf/Surviving_Progress/

The issue is addressed in the film, but the film maker doesn't cover it in detail. I gives you the impression that the actions from the IMF and World Bank that ruin economies are almost accidental and not evil. The truth, however, is that wealthy persons benefit from keeping people down, and that is often the intent.

I'm watching this amazing documentary now, and I think they do hit this issue pretty hard. I'm pleased that they slam the greedy busturds pretty good.

I found it pretty ironic, considering that China is basically doing the same to us.
