Lies! We've been had with this movie!

Listen up men! We've been had! I watched this movie based on that movie cover which had some kind of robot looking thing holding a minigun. I figured that this can't be all that bad if they have a minigun wielding robot or whatnot running around in the jungle! Well imagine my surprise men after I had seen this stinker! Not only was that thing not in the movie, but there was also no minigun! Instead there was some pasty fool running around with a knife taped to his forearm. Speaking of which, I thought they had some kind of epinephrine based system which was supposed to keep the guy in the check! I guess they forgot all about that part. And what's with that chick who tags along? What was she supposed to bring along? Hate! That's what she brought. She spent the whole movie player hating the team and Sorbo only to pull a 180 in the end for no reason.

I have seen some crappy movies, but that was one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

Why were the "terrorists" running around and who put them there?

Why did the "predator" have to suck out his victims' brains?

Why was the "predator" such a sissy that he was killed so easily?

OMG. That is 90 minutes of my life I will never get back.

ckw4b: I can answer one of your questions. Why did the "predator" have to suck their brains out?" It's pretty obvious. It's the only way anyone would watch this drivel...

Remember she said they had been injecting it with human brain cells. Didn't explain exactly why but presumably he'd need the brain matter to survive.

Like a zombie, you know? Human brains as nourishment.

I thought it was great that I had more patience. Turns out... I just don't give a sh!t

The girl, I think it was, said they had made him self limiting, lifespan wise, by removing his ability to produce some enzyme in his brain that we all need to survive. To get away from the scientists and regain control of his life, he was getting the enzyme by eating brains directly. The same premise was used in Jurassic Park or JP 2. The head brainiac made the dinosaurs self limiting by removing their ability to produce a necessary hormone. If they ever escaped, they would die quickly without the injections. The dinos figured out that they could get the same hormone from eating certain plants and that removed the human controls from the dinos' lives. Was that in JP or JP 2? Can't recall now. Maybe a SciFi Saturday Night movie.

That was a pretty decent little science tidbit in the movie. It really had a couple of good points if you can filter out the bad.
