The ending was predictable but stupid.Telling people you're a man to test if they would love you unconditionally for an inheritance. Its just a piece of crap version of the crying game meets that movie where you have to have someone fall in love with you or you don't get an inheritance. Also in this movie she isn't really a man.
Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful.
Axtually.. I just wrote a review.. and I stated the SAME thing.. the movie really cops out, I wouldn't even say in the THIRD act.. more like the last 5-7 minutes.. when you see the RUSH to get the girl back.. and when he DOES get her back.. just STOP the movie then and there.. its really not so bad, but after that.. the movie really loses its balls.. granted.. it does answer ONE question that runs throughout the movie.. but I could have lived without having NOT known who was in the big black car...
like I said.. IF you end it at THAT point.. its not a bad flick.. the acting isn't great.. but its definitely not as cutting edge.. I was thinking something a bit more.. I don't even knew the word.. brave? maybe? It's just at the VERY last minute they weren't sure how it'd play in Pig's Knuckle, Arkansas (and this coming from an Oklahoman) and copped out the ending to just have it be a fluffy rom-com.
IF you just ignore the last 2 scenes.. the flick really isn't that bad. although having known the twist.. it really wrecks the movie anyway.
