I have been looking for the perfect boots that look like Alice's in the series, and it was really hard, especially since I don't wear leather. But I finally found a pair at DEB and thought I'd let the group know, if anyone else likes them. (And they were 25% off for me:))

shareNice find! Saw that someone found the actual style (I think) called Inge from Fleuvog, but at $300 to $400, that's a bit out of most people's pricerange. I'll have to mull these over, as I prefer chunky heeled boots to thinner heels, but the style is very, very close, which is great!

Well, by the time I managed to get tickets to a con and begin working on the Alice outfit, the boots on Debshop in a dark brown were gone.
However, I found some on Piperlime (they're tied to Old Navy, The Gap and Banana Republic). They're called the Corporal (by Mia), they come in black or brown and have one more buckle than the Fleuvogs. On the bright side (for me), they are a chunkier heel and the toe box is a little more rounded. And at the moment, they're on sale for $39 instead of $79 (limited sizes available).
Can't wait to try them out!

Added: I did get these, and I'd wager a guess and say any boots of this type of style are going to be interesting in terms of putting on or taking off. I have narrow feet, but a high instep and it took me a minute or two to get each boot on. But once on, the fit is comfortable.
