Shane had a tattoo of that on his arm that Noah recalls seeing when he talked to him at the fair.
As for the lightbulb, I was also confused.
I just watched this on Showtime and I was wondering the same thing about the light bulb. The scene following that must have been cut from the final film. I would guess that maybe they were going to throw her in the dark closet to try to intimidate her (although I can't see that working on a grown adult).
shareBoth are legitimate questions. Both these questions are not answered in the movie (watched the Blu-Ray version). Looks as if some horrible cuts were done in an awful hurry. I thought the movie was mediocre at best with the ending (last five minutes of so) almost ruining it for me.
