Unfortunately, it would appear that we shall not be seeing a second series of Paradox. A BBC spokesman confirmed this in the readers' letters section of the Radio Times, towards the end of February. Apparently, they have also cancelled Survivors. It would seem that they are very nervous these days about any series that doesn't get spectacular ratings, and this appears to outweigh any sense of commitment they might previously have felt towards loyal viewers who might actually like a proper ending to a series! Sad.
