the guy having his heart on the wrong side so that a would be lethal wound didn't kill him. i'm sure i've seen that in another movie.

There was also a character named Duolong in Duke of Mount Deer/Deer & the Cauldron (written by Jin Yong and has several adaptations) who was dealt and survived from a similar stab due to having situs inversus (mirrored visceral organs).
