Mensa meeting
Can anyone explain the point of the scene with the three girls at the MENSA meeting and their double (triple) entendre? The scene was hilarious but I was expecting some pay off further down the line, but nothing came of it.

shareIt was to show that Sir Clive is a one for the Ladies, he has a large IQ and a sex drive to match!
Back in the '80s there was always an article in the Sunday papers by some tart - "My 10-hour romps with Clive", in fact didn't he leave his wife and run off with a stripper.
Wouldn't surprise me - the guy's a dynamo! Glad someone mentioned this scene - along with the soup in the greasy spoon this part really stood out.
Guess it's just a way of 'suggesting' Clive's libido sometimes got the hang of him, without being sued. :)
shareDespite the nerdy reputation, Sir Clive has always been a bit of a babe magnet!
In fact the current Lady Sinclair is a former lap dancer!
Its that man again!!
Every time I watch Micro Men, of the three girls mentioned in the MENSA scene, the one in the middle always reminds me of Holly Willoughby.
The likeness is remarkable.
Hello I-I'm Harvey & I've come to give you jipshare
Google Sinclair's current wife, Angie Bowness (Sinclair)...quite a little sexpot. About 30 years younger than the man.
I came here because I just watched "Micro Men" for the first time. Thoroughly enjoyed it, even though I had a Commodore 64 myself. The scene in WHSmith with all those game cassettes was very nostalgic.
